Traditional Healing
Indigenous traditional healing refers to the holistic practices and knowledge systems that have been developed and passed down through generations within indigenous communities. These healing practices are deeply rooted in the cultural, spiritual, and natural traditions of specific indigenous groups and are often tied to their understanding of the interconnectedness of all aspects of life.

Ceremony
Ceremonies and rituals hold great significance in First Nations healing practices. These can include smudging (the burning of sacred herbs like sage, sweetgrass, or cedar), sweat lodge ceremonies, naming ceremonies, pipe ceremonies, fasting camps, and sun dances. These ceremonies are often guided by Elders or spiritual leaders and serve to connect individuals with their spirituality, ancestors, and the natural world.
Land-Based Healing
Land-based treatment and healing can take place when we return or reconnect to the land while utilizing supports to relearn, revitalize, and reclaim our wellness and connection to our original mother the earth.
The healing and wellness of the people comes from the unique connection with creation and the elements. Understanding the importance of self-love and reconnection will provide the opportunity to heal and have overall wellness of the mind, body, spirit and heart.
Naming Ceremony
Naming ceremony is done through the help of an elder or facilitator who is able to provide a name appropriately to the participant. It is done by with the passing of tobacco for the request to the elder or facilitator and ceremony will then be conducted on behalf of the request. Each request is different and unique and will be handled with care and consideration.
Residential Treatment
.A residential treatment center offers therapy for substance use disorders, mental illness, or other behavioral problems.
We look at it as an opportunity to live with in a safe space to begin the first steps to a fulfilling productive healthy life style. By providing teachings and lessons on our original roles and responsibilities to better understand our life road. By utilizing traditional medicines and a kind way of understanding the struggle of addictions while being supported by elders and knowledge keepers throughout the stay of 1–4 weeks
Sacred Fire
The sacred fire represents a central focal point for gathering, ceremonies and prayer to allow the relationship between all of creation to be renewed and acknowledged.
The fire can be used to strengthen community and family or for ceremony it is a symbol of life and connection to creation and creator.
The fire is lit with great reverence and respect by a fire keeper who tends and feeds the cared fire until it is complete or until relieved of their responsibilities.
Smudging
Providing teachings, uses and protocols around the 4 sacred medicines Tobacco,Sage, Sweet Grass and Cedar. Smudging is a way of purifying and moving negative energy from places, things and Self.
Sweat Lodge
The Sweat lodge is a way of purification and understanding our relationship with creation and this human experience.
The Ceremony takes us back to the womb of our original mother the Earth and allows us to sit and pray with the elements. Taking the opportunity to help ourselves by taking possibly that first step on that good road of life.
